Chez van Rijn brings the atmosphere of a classic French grand café to the heart of Amsterdam. Commissioned by the hospitality family Poppes, Almost Famous provided design consultancy and interior styling for the project.

The concept draws inspiration from the glamour and grandeur of the 1940s and translates this into a richly layered interior with reclaimed materials and vintage lighting.

With approximately 600 m² of restaurant and bar space and 120 m² of private dining, Chez van Rijn combines grandeur with intimacy, and French elegance with Amsterdam energy.
